Season started very well, with excellent water conditions.
Fishing was very good, with exception of few rainy days in early April.
We also had 2 days with light rain last week, but clients were fishing, and fish were active all day.
Pliva River was especially good this early season, with almost all clients catching ( and releasing, of course ) brown trout of 50+ cm.
The biggest trout on Pliva River this year caught by our clients was 60 cm.
The biggest grayling on Ribnik River this year caught by our clients was 48 cm.
We hope for bigger fish, because season started only two months ago.
Other rivers also had stabile water level.
Fish were taking nymph, dry fly and small sedge.
On May 16th we were at the opening ceremony for fly fishing area on Klokot River.
It is a beautiful river in west Bosnia, only 5 km from city of Bihac.
Fly fishing area is 2,2 km long, averagely 10 meter wide, and in the upstream, on one spot, it is wide around 40 meters.
By my estimate, it is 80% grayling river, in all generations, up to 55-58 cm specimens.
Klokot River will be officially included in our offer very soon.
Our clients from Sweden made 2 small videos, both on Pliva River, and put them on youtube.
